First-Ever World Local Mascot Grand Prix to be Held!

The World Local Mascot Grand Prix Executive Committee will hold the first-ever "World Local Mascot Grand Prix" from July 7 to December 13, 2026. This new evaluation-style event aims to visualize the daily, diligent activities of mascots and turn them into a driving force for regional revitalization. Unlike traditional short-term popularity contests, it introduces a "Support Evaluation System" that links six months of web voting with on-site voting at multiple real-world events. The system uses LINE ID and GPS to ensure fair voting and is open to international characters, connecting local Japan with the world through mascots.
