50 Shiba Inu Influencers Feature in New 'Shiba Awase' Card Game, Launching Early August

Hyakumanvolt Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Eita Sakai) announced the start of pre-orders for 'Shiba Awase -Aka-' and 'Shiba Awase -Kuro-,' the latest additions to its 'THE AWASE' card game series, starting May 26, 2026. The official launch is scheduled for early August 2026.

'THE AWASE' is a card game series built on the concept, 'If you have love, you can tell the difference.' Using photos of real animals, the game is a new type of concentration game that asks players to identify differences between individuals that look similar but are distinct. The series has gained popularity on social media, with eight titles released so far and cumulative sales exceeding 18,000 sets.

The newly announced titles feature a large number of popular influencer Shiba Inu dogs active on social media, with a combined following of over 1.25 million people. A total of 50 dogs appear across the two versions—25 in 'Aka' (Red) and 25 in 'Kuro' (Black). Players must observe fine differences in coat patterns, expressions, and ear shapes, testing their observation skills, memory, and 'Shiba Inu love.'

The Joker cards feature the 'refusing Shiba' pose (walking-refusal), a familiar sight to all Shiba Inu owners. Furthermore, due to the high popularity of the Shiba Inu breed overseas, an English version of the game has also been decided.

Users can also add their own dogs to the game by sticking print seals onto the included blank cards (two per set). A portion of the proceeds from this series is donated to animal protection organizations, and this practice will continue with these new titles.
