Toyama Bento Opens First Tokyo Store, Expanding High-End Lunch Box Brand to 6 Stores

Toyama Bento, a high-end lunch box brand operated by Big Wind Co., Ltd., is launching its first metropolitan store in Tokyo, expanding its network to six locations nationwide (joining existing locations in Shiga, Kyoto, Shizuoka, Osaka, and Chiba). Toyama Bento delivers the rich food culture of Toyama Prefecture, known as a 'natural fish tank' for its rich seafood, quality rice, and seasonal ingredients. Since starting franchise expansion in November 2024, the brand has grown to cater to corporate meetings, receptions, training sessions, and events. Product listing and order placement for the Tokyo store are scheduled to begin in mid-June. A representative product is the 'Ko - Himi Beef Sukiyaki and Special Beef Steak' lunch box. Big Wind Co., Ltd., based in Toyama City, operates the business under President Hisashi Fujita and Senior Managing Director Ryoto Ogawa.
