Big Wood Co., Ltd. (Location: Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, President: Kōmoto Yasushi), which sells outlet furniture and interior products both domestically and internationally, will hold its "Furniture All-You-Can-Fit" event in June at the Fukuoka Higashi store (Fukuoka Prefecture) on June 23rd (Tuesday). This event, which started as a TV project and has become a topic of conversation on social media, is planned to be held monthly at one of Big Wood's directly managed stores (excluding some stores) from June onwards.

"Furniture All-You-Can-Fit" Started as a TV Project and Gained Traction on Social Media

Big Wood, Japan's first "Furniture Off-Price Store," directly sources high-quality furniture from various domestic and international manufacturers and brands, including items with minor scratches, discontinued products, manufacturer overstock, and bankrupt stock, selling them as "new" at prices lower than the regular retail price. For example, a one-of-a-kind new sofa with a regular price of 220,880 yen can be purchased for approximately 80% off at 49,990 yen. The store's appeal lies in its ability to offer high-quality, new furniture at low prices, and it currently operates over 50 stores nationwide, with a group sales revenue of approximately 9 billion yen from directly managed and franchise stores.

The "Furniture All-You-Can-Fit" differs from the typical "bag-filling" style; customers fill their own cars with as much furniture as possible. This time, a new rule has been introduced for clarity: a flat rate of 50,000 yen for kei cars (mini vehicles) and 100,000 yen for regular cars. The excitement and anticipation build as customers strategize how much furniture they can fit, how to fill the gaps, and how much they will save. (Some furniture items are excluded; furniture priced over 100,000 yen can only be included as a single item).

This is an "upgraded" new version of the Furniture All-You-Can-Fit events previously held at Big Wood.

This is a "crazy" event, with the company prepared to operate at a loss!

Event Details

Date: Tuesday, June 23, 2026, 10:00 AM lottery start

Target: All furniture safely loaded into the customer's own car (private vehicle)

Cost: 50,000 yen (tax included) for kei cars, 100,000 yen (tax included) for regular cars

Location: Big Wood Fukuoka Higashi Store (Fukuoka Prefecture)

Participation Method: Participants will be selected by lottery at the store at 10:00 AM on the day of the event from customers who have pre-registered at the store.

Advance Application: Applications accepted in-store until 3:00 PM on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Notes

- Same-day participation is not possible. Advance application is required.

- Each group (defined as one family) may apply only once.

- Applications using rental cars are not eligible (only private vehicles with roofs are accepted).

- Vehicle types such as mini-trucks, trucks, buses, and campers are not eligible.

- Participants must consent to the filming of the lottery and loading process for later publication on our company's social media.

- Store staff will assist with the furniture loading process.

- If the winner is not present at the time of the lottery, the win will be invalidated.

- Some furniture, as well as items like雑貨 (sundries) and rugs, are excluded.

- The time limit from product selection to completion of loading is 1 hour.

- Items with a store sale price of 100,000 yen (tax included) or more are limited to one item.

- The time limit from product selection to completion of loading is 60 minutes.
