This event is scheduled to be held monthly at one of Big Wood's directly managed stores, excluding some locations.

"Stuff-Your-Car-with-Furniture" Event, Born from a TV企画 and Gaining Traction on Social Media

Big Wood, Japan's first "Off-Price Store for Furniture," directly sources high-quality furniture from various domestic and international manufacturers and brands, including items with minor scratches, discontinued items, manufacturer overstock, and bankrupt stock, and sells them at prices lower than the regular retail price. For example, a one-of-a-kind new sofa with a list price of 220,880 yen can be purchased for approximately 80% off at 49,990 yen. The store's concept of offering high-quality, new furniture at low prices has been well-received, and it currently operates over 50 stores nationwide. The group's total sales for directly managed and franchise stores exceed approximately 9 billion yen.

This "Stuff-Your-Car-with-Furniture" event differs from the typical style of packing items into a "bag." Instead, customers can stuff as much furniture as they can into their own cars in an unprecedented format. Since the last event, a clear new rule has been implemented: 50,000 yen flat for compact cars and 100,000 yen flat for regular cars. This event delivers an unparalleled shopping entertainment experience where customers' anticipation and excitement about how much furniture they can fit, how they will fill the gaps, and how much discount they will receive, intersect with the sight of staff members turning pale at the sheer volume of furniture being crammed in, exceeding all limits.

The furniture industry is currently facing rising procurement costs due to soaring lumber prices and increased transportation expenses. Event Content

Target: Customers can stuff furniture from the store into their own cars (private vehicles).

Time Limit: Within 60 minutes from product selection to completion of loading.

Cost: 50,000 yen (tax included) for compact cars, 100,000 yen (tax included) for regular cars.

How to Participate: Participants will be selected by lottery at 11:00 AM on the day of the event from those who have pre-registered by visiting the store. (Maximum of 4 groups will be selected).

- Participation on the day of the event is not possible. Advance registration is required. Please understand this in advance. - Applications are limited to one per group (one family = one group). - Applications using rental cars are not eligible. (Only private cars with roofs are accepted). - Vehicle types such as light trucks, trucks, buses, and campers are not eligible. - Participants must consent to having their lottery draw and item loading process filmed for future media and company SNS publication. - Staff will assist with the loading of items. - If the applicant is not present at the time of the lottery, the winning will be invalidated. - Some items such as small furniture, accessories, miscellaneous goods, and carpets (rugs) are not eligible. - Items with a store sale price of 100,000 yen (tax included) or more are limited to one per person.
