A beautifully embossed candy tin featuring Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, sparkling with elegance
"Tetsuko's Room," which began in 1976, will celebrate its 50th anniversary in February 2026. To commemorate this milestone, the special exhibition "Tetsuko's Room 50th Anniversary Exhibition: With Love" will be held at the 8th-floor Hall of Nihombashi Takashimaya S.C. Main Building.
Sharing in the celebration of the show's 50th anniversary, Aoyama Decaboron has created an exclusive, limited-time 'Tetsuko's Room Can.'
The lid features Tetsuko Kuroyanagi framed against a pink background, rendered in three-dimensional embossing. Her timeless beauty sparkles at the center of the can, captivating viewers at every glance.
For this special release, Kuroyanagi personally illustrated her beloved motifs in glass painting style—'adorable pandas,' 'glistening candies,' and 'musical notes inspired by the show's theme song'—which are delicately embedded into the diamond-cut sections of the lid.
When one thinks of "Tetsuko's Room," the luxurious studio set that has welcomed countless iconic guests immediately comes to mind.
The 'Tetsuko's Room Can' recreates this iconic studio set in a 360-degree wraparound design on the can's sides, using original glass paintings. No matter where you look, the world of "Tetsuko's Room" surrounds you.
Upon gently opening the lid, delicate and elegant flowers line the rim. Hidden among them is a subtle glass painting of 'inubako,' a motif cherished by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi. Guests are invited to enjoy the fun of discovering the 'hidden inubako.'
A surprise awaits: a panda charm personally supervised by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi
Another delightful experience awaits when opening the can.
Lifting the lid reveals a charming panda pendant, a design personally approved by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi herself.
This precious charm is based on Aoyama Decaboron's original panda design, refined into the exact shape Kuroyanagi loves.
Each panda wears a necklace with either a 'pink' or 'blue' stone. Which color you receive is a delightful surprise upon opening the can.
Contains plant-based black tea cookies
Inside the 'Tetsuko's Room Can' are black tea cookies made entirely from plant-based ingredients.
Infused with Earl Grey tea leaves, these cookies are carefully baked using soy milk cream instead of eggs and soy milk butter instead of dairy butter.
With each bite, the refined, fragrant aroma of Earl Grey gently unfolds, offering a sophisticated flavor.
A proud confectionery creation from Aoyama Decaboron, enjoyable across all generations.
