Chiba Prefecture's First Full-Scale Integrated Commercial Facility in Ichinomiya Town to Open on July 20, 2026: 'Seaside Mall Ichinomiya' to Launch 'Night Retreat' Experience with Theme of 'Sea × Night'

Pikaichi Inc. (President: Masaharu Yanagida, Head Office: Ichinomiya Town, Chosei District, Chiba Prefecture), a company specializing in construction projects for investment properties, will grand open 'Seaside Mall Ichinomiya' (Location: 10035 Ichinomiya, Chosei District, Chiba Prefecture), the first full-scale integrated commercial facility in Ichinomiya Town, on Monday, July 20, 2026 (a national holiday, 'Marine Day').

The facility is located approximately 300 meters from Kujukuri Beach, offering an open and scenic location with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. It will feature gourmet dining using local ingredients from Ichinomiya, experiential activities such as yoga, and on-site accommodation villas equipped with private saunas and private pools, allowing guests to fully enjoy the charm of Ichinomiya throughout their stay.

On April 15 (Wednesday), the facility launched early operations with 'Sakai Coffee'—making its debut in the Boso Peninsula area—'Cafe Down the Road Ichinomiya,' where visitors can enjoy local Ichinomiya fruits and vegetables alongside coffee, and the accommodation villa series 'Pikaichi Private Stay Series.' On opening day, 432 guests attended, marking a successful start as a welcoming community hub connecting people and the town.

Starting with the grand opening on July 20 (Monday, national holiday), the mall will launch its 'Night Retreat Experience'—a special program designed to restore mental and physical well-being through darkness and tranquility under the theme of 'Sea × Night.' At 'Night Cafe' by Sakai Coffee, guests can enjoy a special Night Retreat dessert set and exclusive menu featuring gentle, nighttime-friendly drinks such as non-caffeinated teas, decaf coffee, and hot milk, paired with desserts. Additionally, the newly added yoga and Thai massage studio 'Umitowa' will offer 'Night Yoga' in a calm atmosphere illuminated by candlelight. Furthermore, the 'Sky Sauna' located on the rooftop of the facility will provide a 'Night Sauna' experience under the stars, offering a completely different ambiance from the open daytime views of the Pacific Ocean and serene mountain ranges. Other new stores, including 'LANA LEA,' which sells Hawaiian lifestyle goods, and the bilingual after-school childcare program '5star Bilingual Kids Ichinomiya,' are also scheduled to open gradually.

On the opening day, three large glowing fireworks art installations—created during an art workshop with 30 local children from Ichinomiya—will be unveiled for the first time at the 'Symbol Art Completion and Public Viewing Event' starting at 7:00 PM. The grand opening will also be celebrated with 'SEASIDE BASE MARCHE (Seaside Base Market),' featuring popular and specialty local vendors.
