A conceptual rendering of the Phytochrome booth (Inside the Japan Biostimulant Council Pavilion: J-14)

Phytochrome Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Keisuke Uchida), a specialized company in biostimulants that leverage the inherent power of plants, will exhibit at "GPEC 2026," a specialized exhibition for horticultural facilities and plant factories, to be held for three days from July 15 (Wed) to July 17 (Fri), 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight.

Within the "Japan Biostimulant Council Pavilion," we will focus on "High-Temperature Countermeasure Solutions" to protect crops from the severe heat, a pressing issue in recent years, and maintain stable quality and yield, under the theme of "Agriculture That Draws Out."

Background of Exhibition

A New Approach to Draw Out Plants' "Resilience" Against Summer Heat

Record high temperatures in recent summers, associated with global warming, are having serious impacts on horticultural facilities and crop cultivation, leading to poor coloration, growth delays, and reduced quality. It is becoming difficult to cope with intensifying environmental stress through conventional "Agriculture That Gives," such as adding fertilizers and pesticides.

Our company proposes a new approach that "draws out" plants' inherent immunity and resistance to environmental stress by utilizing globally recognized "biostimulant technology."

We will offer proposals tailored to different cultivation phases as concrete "solutions" for "high-temperature countermeasures," a key theme this summer. We aim to maximize plants' potential even under harsh conditions, contributing to stable management of production sites and the realization of sustainable agriculture.

Highlights

"Technical Consultations" by Expert Staff and "Limited Samples" for Field Trials

At our booth, we will offer "technical consultations" by expert staff and "limited samples" that can be tested in the field.

We will systematically introduce the specific mechanisms for mitigating the effects of high-temperature stress and provide abundant test data and case studies by combining Phytochrome's main products.

During the exhibition, sales and technical representatives will be stationed at the booth, which will be designed for dialogue, focusing on explanations and consultations, to directly answer on-site questions regarding specific cultivation challenges, implementation, and formulations for different regions and crops.

We will distribute free samples of our main products, which can be tested in actual agricultural settings, with a limit of 【200 samples per day】.

Main Exhibition Contents

Proposal of "High-Temperature Countermeasure Biostimulant Solutions" for Heat Stress Mitigation

Acceptance of individual formulation and cultivation challenge consultations by sales and technical staff

Distribution of main product samples 【Limited to 200 per day】

Explanation of mechanisms for improving crop quality and stabilizing yield under high temperatures

We will clearly communicate concrete approaches that are effective in the field to agricultural workers, large-scale agricultural corporations, and producers facing the intensifying climate change of summer.
