Launch of Voice-Assisted Health Management App for the Visually Impaired

ForaCare Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masashi Aoki) has developed 'Kikoeru Health,' a smartphone application that reads out health measurement results, such as body temperature, to support the daily health management of visually impaired individuals. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android and connects to the company's measurement devices via Bluetooth to record and announce results through synthesized voice. The app has been available on the App Store and Google Play since May 2026. It is designed to minimize reliance on visual information, allowing users to record and check their vital signs independently. By providing an environment for self-managed health, the company aims to offer peace of mind not only to users but also to their families and caregivers. Key features include voice-readout of results, voice-controlled app navigation, and access to historical data. Supported devices currently include pulse oximeters, ear thermometers, and glucose meters, with blood pressure monitors and non-contact thermometers planned for future integration.
