[Opening July 4, 2026] New Facility Born in Gujo Hachiman, the Town Momoko Sakura Loved - Newly Drawn Key Visual Unveiled for the First Time

The facility "Momoko Sakura and Gujo Hachiman," which tells the story of manga artist and essayist Momoko Sakura, who continues to be loved by many people, and Gujo Hachiman, the town she loved, is scheduled to open in the summer of 2026 at the nationally registered tangible cultural property "Gujo Hachiman Machiya-shiki Echizenya" in Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture.

To commemorate the opening, we are now unveiling the key visual specially drawn for this facility.

The newly drawn key visual depicts the tranquil townscape and rich nature of Gujo Hachiman.

In the rich nature overlooking Gujo Hachiman Castle, the clear stream Yoshida River is depicted in the center, with Momoko Sakura on the Shinbashi bridge over the Yoshida River, and above her, "GJ8-man (G.J. Eightman)," a character she created out of her love for Gujo Hachiman, is drawn.

It also expresses the lively coexistence of innocent children playing in the river and creatures of nature.

This scenery, where people's lives and nature are intertwined, symbolizes the charm of Gujo Hachiman that Momoko Sakura loved and the world view of the story that this facility will weave.
