[Industry First] "Denim Vending Machine" Appears at Service Area!! Installation and Operation to Begin in July @ Fukuyama SA

Betty Smith Co., Ltd. (Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, President & CEO: Yasuhiro Oshima), Japan's first ladies' jeans manufacturer and a company with the mission of "Creating Jeans Culture," began installation and operation of the industry's first "Denim Vending Machine" at Sanyo Expressway Fukuyama Service Area (SA) on July 1, 2026 (Wed.), just before the summer vacation.

While "vending machines" are symbols of "everyday convenience" that can be easily purchased regardless of age or gender, "jeans" have traditionally been something that requires trying on and careful selection. Therefore, with the desire for jeans to become an easily purchasable souvenir, we have combined the "extreme convenience" of a vending machine, which is normally the opposite of jeans, with jeans themselves to design a new purchasing experience that overturns common sense: the "Denim Vending Machine."
