Honda Access announced the "Honda V2H Stand" on May 21, 2026. It will be available at Honda Cars dealerships nationwide starting in late June.

About Honda V2H Stand The "Honda V2H Stand" is a V2H (Vehicle to Home) charger that allows power stored in an EV battery to be supplied (discharged) to the home. During power outages, it serves as an emergency power source, and it can also discharge power to the home during peak hours when many appliances are in use. For EV charging, it supports a maximum output of 5.9kW via the rapid charging port, cutting charging time in half compared to standard 3kW chargers. By integrating with solar power generation, surplus energy can be stored in the EV and discharged back to the home, or used to charge the EV, leading to further savings on electricity bills. Its slim, self-standing design with an integrated connector cable allows for space-saving installation in various parking environments. Additionally, it can be remotely operated and monitored from outside the home using a dedicated V2H smartphone app.

It is compatible with major EVs previously sold by Honda, starting with the Super-ONE, which launches on May 22, 2026. Furthermore, with a 10-year manufacturer warranty, customers can use the unit with peace of mind over the long term.

To address customer concerns regarding EV charging, Honda Access has previously offered genuine products such as the "Charging Indicator," which uses LED lighting to show remaining charge and status, and the "Honda EV Charger" (a standard charger). By adding the "Honda V2H Stand" to this lineup, Honda Access continues to support the realization of a smart charging environment that allows customers to enjoy their EV lifestyle with confidence.
