Mountec Co., Ltd. (based in Aichi, founded in 1948) has launched 'KADONE', a new brand aimed at elevating the core of its long-standing ironwork and welding technology—the 'art of corner shaping'—to world-class standards. The brand will hold its debut exhibition at 'Interior Lifestyle Tokyo 2026', held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 10 (Wed) to 12 (Fri), 2026.
About KADONE KADONE is a portmanteau of 'KAD' (angle/corner) and 'ONE' (No.1). The name embodies the determination to achieve world-class precision in corner-shaping technology, not just in Japan. It is Mountec's fabrication brand that develops various products, projects, and custom orders, ranging from interior objects and fixtures to industrial furniture.
Background of the Brand Mountec was founded by welding craftsmen in post-war Aichi. For 78 years, the company has handled heavy and precision-required structures such as sheet metal, switchboards, distribution panels, cubicles, and large monuments. KADONE is the first step toward connecting the core of this technology to the worlds of interior, design, and space.
Exhibition Overview This exhibition attracts buyers and designers from both Japan and abroad involved in spatial projects. KADONE has positioned this event as its launch platform to showcase multiple items and begin accepting orders and projects.
