New experience program 'Big Tank Fish Watching' starts at Shimoda Aquarium!

On June 1, 2026, Max Co., Ltd. will launch a new experience program, 'Big Tank Fish Watching,' at the Aqua Dome Perry large tank in Shimoda Aquarium (Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture). Participants can wear snorkeling gear to enter the large tank, which reproduces the Izu sea, swim with the fish, and observe them up close. The program also allows for fish feeding, an activity previously reserved for aquarium staff. Since life jackets are provided, even those who are not confident swimmers can participate with peace of mind. The program is open to elementary school students and above, and includes a lecture by staff before and after the experience. The fee is 7,000 yen, with a limited-time offer of 6,000 yen until the end of June.
