Maruhan East Japan Company, a subsidiary of Maruhan Corporation, which operates comprehensive entertainment businesses centered on pachinko halls, will serve as a special sponsor for the 'Maruhan x Sint-Truidense VV Cup supported by Gacha Gacha Market' (hosted by the Yachiyo City Football Association) for the fourth consecutive year. The tournament will take place on June 6, 2026, at the Yachiyo General Ground in Chiba Prefecture. As indicated in the tournament title, Gacha Gacha Market (AINEOS Co., Ltd.) will also serve as a special sponsor, ensuring an enjoyable event for participating children and attendees.
The tournament is for children in the fourth grade of elementary school and below. A total of 15 teams are scheduled to participate, including 10 teams from Yachiyo City, two invited teams, and three girls' teams: Yachiyo Girls, Odawara TC (Kanagawa), and Salvus FC (Gunma).
Special guests scheduled to attend include players from Sint-Truidense VV (pending confirmation), STVV Ambassador Shinji Okazaki (pending), former Japan women's national team players Aya Miyama and Mana Iwabuchi, former Japan national team player Robert Cullen, and popular soccer YouTubers Keigo and Taka from LISEM. The event will also feature food stalls, a 'My Football Kit' workshop hosted by Molten Corporation, and a raffle with luxury prizes.
Maruhan Corporation entered into a capital and business alliance with Sint-Truidense VV (headquartered in Sint-Truiden, Belgium; CEO: Takayuki Tateishi) on March 31, 2022, through its subsidiary, Maruhan United Partners. As a platinum sponsor, Maruhan East Japan supports the team's development and players challenging themselves on the global stage.
