Miki House Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Yao City, Osaka Prefecture, Chairman and CEO: Koichi Kimura), which develops the children's clothing brand "Miki House," will hold a POP-UP event themed "COOL JAPAN" at the 1st floor Coto Coto Stage 11 of Hankyu Umeda Main Store.

The store, designed to evoke Japanese architecture, will feature a corner filled with Miki House's signature colorful and pop character items, as well as a corner where visitors can experience Japanese craftsmanship. A photo spot will also be available in the center, allowing visitors to take pictures with Miki House's popular characters "Puchy and Usako."

Traditional Crafts Workshop for Children

Enjoy a fun parent-child workshop experiencing the world of "Wajima-nuri," a traditional Japanese craft.

This time, you will experience Maki-e, where "foil" is applied to cute Puchy and Usako stickers. While the technique traditionally uses lacquer, this workshop uses stickers, allowing even young children to safely experience the artisan's skills.

POP-UP Limited Special Name Engraving Service

For customers who order Miki House Wajima-nuri tableware in the Hankyu Train original "Maroon Color" displayed at the POP-UP, we offer a special service to engrave your child's drawing in place of their name. Additionally, we will have special items featuring the Hankyu Train expressed in Maki-e.

Your child's drawing will be traced, and a Maki-e artisan will paint it onto the tableware with lacquer, then sprinkle it with gold powder to finish.

Wajima-nuri is made by carving natural wood, shaping the tableware, applying lacquer multiple times, and going through over 100 processes. It becomes more beautiful and durable with continued use. Your child's free imagination will turn the Wajima-nuri tableware into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
