Militani Inc. (Headquarters: Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tomoki Inaba) is pleased to announce the launch of a technical blog series on "Qiita," a technical information sharing platform for engineers, which will disseminate Asana utilization know-how.
In this series, based on the knowledge gained from supporting over 16 organizations as Japan's first Asana Services Partner, we will continuously provide "tips for using Asana more effectively."
**What is the first installment of the series, "Designing Asana to be more than just a 'task repository'"?**
Many organizations that have introduced Asana often consult us with concerns like, "We're not using it effectively," or "Tasks are registered, but our work processes haven't changed." The common challenge in these organizations is not a lack of knowledge about new features, but rather in the operational design of "how to use Asana in daily work."
The first article explains three effective operational methods (making "My Tasks" the starting point for today's work / creating tasks on the spot during meetings / catching changes in the inbox) by contrasting "common states" with "methods of established organizations." This content serves as the first step for Asana to transform from a task repository into a work foundation.

**Main themes to be covered in the series**
Going forward, we will sequentially publish articles on the following themes:
* Designing Asana to be more than just a "task repository" (First installment / Already published) * Asana has three "types" – basic design to know before creating a project * Commonalities among organizations where Asana comments are not used – what is lost when resorting to chat tools * What happens if you add too many custom fields – common pitfalls in Asana design
Instead of merely introducing features, we will explain from the perspective of operational design, focusing on "how to use it" and "why it doesn't stick," based on real-world examples from our support sites.
