"I want voice input to start the moment I open the app"—This was the experience we most wanted to achieve during development. However, due to watchOS limitations, this cannot be implemented for all third-party Watch apps. Voice input requires tapping the microphone once before speaking. The iPhone version supports a setting to "automatically start voice input upon launch." If you seek the fastest capture that is entirely voice-based, we recommend using the iPhone version, and using the Watch as a backup for situations where you can't even take out your iPhone.

System Requirements and Notes

The iPhone requires iOS 16.0 or later, and the Apple Watch requires watchOS 26.5 or later. Sending from Apple Watch requires communication with the paired iPhone or the Watch's own mobile communication (cellular model). Please register and authenticate your email address on the iPhone in advance.
