Yoozi Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan) is pleased to announce a partnership with Xiamen DEZTOOL Technology Co., Ltd., a 3D ceramic technology firm based in Fujian, China, to launch a new project titled 'Art by Day, Light by Night (2-WAY): 3D Printing Interior that Designs Light' on the crowdfunding site Makuake, starting June 5, 2026. This project utilizes white porcelain clay from the Dehua Kiln in Fujian, China. The Dehua Kiln is a renowned kiln with over a thousand years of history, and its beauty has long been celebrated in Europe as 'Blanc de Chine.' By combining this traditional material with cutting-edge 3D ceramic printing technology, Yoozi and DEZTOOL have created a new interior product that features delicate layered structures difficult to replicate by hand, utilizing light and shadow to create a quiet presence that harmonizes with Japanese living spaces. The product is a 2-way item that functions as a dry flower vase (not for water) and an LED indirect light (USB powered), allowing users to enjoy different expressions during the day and night. Additionally, since firing, finishing, and inspection are all done by hand, each piece has a unique, subtle variation. For this project, six models have been carefully selected to ensure compatibility with Japanese living spaces, incorporating Japanese sensibilities such as 'water flow,' 'light through shoji screens,' and 'natural material feel.' This project aims to propose new value through the fusion of 'Craftsmanship x Technology x Lifestyle.' Yoozi will continue to promote the development of new products that integrate 3D printing technology, traditional crafts, design, and smart living to offer new lifestyle values to the Japanese market.
