The spiciness is mild and gentle, suitable for all ages. For those who prefer more heat, our house-made chili oil is available on the side for an extra kick.

・Over 40,000 Visitors in Just 3 Months! A New Cultural Hub in Ataka Offering History, Culture, Scenery, and Cuisine
'ATAKA TERRACE' is a revitalized version of the cultural tourism facility 'Ataka no Seki: Komatsu Kanshinchō Village' in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Since April 1, 2026, it has operated under this new name.
Located in the Ataka no Seki area—famous as the setting for the Kabuki play 'Kanjinchō' and the Noh play 'Ataka'—the facility serves as a cultural hub connecting history, culture, scenery, and food. It’s popular for a wide range of occasions, including lunch, café visits, sightseeing, family outings with children, and pet-friendly trips.
On weekdays, it’s frequented by local residents and tourists from the Kansai region. On weekends, it attracts local families as well as visitors from outside the prefecture and from Kanazawa, blending everyday local use with tourism. Thanks to this broad appeal, visitor numbers surpassed 40,000 just three months after opening.
The facility includes a restaurant and café, select shop, co-working space, and kids’ area, and can be enjoyed together with the adjacent 'Kanshinchō Monogatari-kan' (Kanshinchō Story Pavilion).
Outdoors, an open space offers panoramic views of the Japan Sea. Statues of Benkei, Yoshitsune, and Tomokata—depicting a famous scene from the Kabuki play 'Kanjinchō'—and the 'A' monument, perfect for photos with the sea as a backdrop, are featured. In May of the same year, an experiential monument called 'Kagami no Kanshinchō' (Mirror Kanshinchō), inspired by the scroll from the play, was newly installed. The facility’s charm lies in combining Ataka’s historical culture with the scenic beauty of the Japan Sea.
