It is a prestigious production area that has achieved the highest market prices in Japan for Fuji apples. Within this area, Wagodaira is renowned as the finest place for growing apples. Located at the foot of Bandai-Asahi National Park, surrounded by mountains, Wagodaira sits on hills at an altitude of approximately 250m. The significant day-night temperature difference and clay-rich soil allow the fruit to slowly develop sweetness and aroma.
