Renatech Corporation (headquartered in Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture), which develops health indicators based on trace elements and applies them in society, announces the opening of reservations for its self-developed screening test, the 'Metallo-Balance Test,' which evaluates the risk of cancer and MCI (mild cognitive impairment). Reservations for testing at Yoshida Clinic (Nakagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture), a partner medical institution, are now open for August to October 2026.

With the establishment of a continuous testing system at this clinic, access to the 'Metallo-Balance Test' in the Nakagawa City area will be stabilized, contributing as a practical option for local residents' daily health management and pre-disease prevention.

Renatech will continue to work with partner medical institutions nationwide to maintain and expand testing availability, aiming to encourage more people to take interest in their health and reflect on their daily habits and lifestyle as part of pre-disease prevention.

What is the Metallo-Balance (MB) Test?

The Metallo-Balance Test is a risk screening (triage) test that objectively evaluates the risk of cancer and MCI (mild cognitive impairment) at the time of blood draw by analyzing the concentration balance of 17 trace elements (metal elements) in the blood.

【Features of the Test】

Only one 6mL blood draw: Blood is safely collected under the proper management of medical institutions. The test takes only about 15 minutes, minimizing physical burden and ensuring safety.

Site-specific 'Cancer Risk Test': With a single blood draw, cancer risk is evaluated by site (6 sites for men, 9 for women) and scored on a four-tier scale from A to D. [Men] Lung cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer [Women] Lung cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer

Comprehensive 'Cognitive Risk Test (MCI Risk Assessment)': Evaluates all types of cognitive impairment, including Alzheimer's, vascular, and Lewy body types.

Proven research achievements and international recognition: Developed through joint research with the Kanagawa Cancer Center and Chiba Cancer Center, supported by a research grant from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's Go-Tech program. Patented in 9 countries including Japan, with over 100,000 test-takers cumulatively (from April 2019 to March 2026).
