Renatech Inc. (headquartered in Isehara, Kanagawa Prefecture), a company that develops health indicators based on trace elements and applies them in real-world settings, announces the opening of reservation bookings for its proprietary screening test, the 'Metallo-Balance Test,' which evaluates risks for cancer and MCI (mild cognitive impairment). The test will be available at Fujimi Health Clinic (Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture), a partner medical institution, with reservations now open for testing between August and November 2026.

With the establishment of a continuous testing system at this clinic, residents in the Fujinomiya area will have stable access to the Metallo-Balance Test, contributing as a practical option for personal health management and preventive care.

Renatech will continue to work with partner medical institutions nationwide to maintain and expand access, aiming to encourage more people to take interest in their health and reconsider daily habits as part of preventive healthcare.

What is the Metallo-Balance (MB) Test?

The Metallo-Balance Test is a risk screening (triage) test that objectively assesses an individual’s current risk for cancer and MCI (mild cognitive impairment) by analyzing the concentration balance of 17 trace elements (metal elements) in the blood.

### Key Features of the Test

- Single 6mL blood draw: Blood is safely collected under proper medical supervision. The test takes approximately 15 minutes, minimizing physical burden and ensuring safety.

- Site-specific 'Cancer Risk Test': With a single blood draw, cancer risk is evaluated by site—6 sites for men, 9 for women—and scored on a four-tier scale (A to D): - Men: Lung, stomach, liver, pancreatic, colorectal, and prostate cancer - Women: Lung, stomach, liver, pancreatic, colorectal, breast, cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancer

- Comprehensive 'Cognitive Risk Test (MCI Risk Assessment)': Evaluates all types of cognitive decline, including Alzheimer’s, vascular, and Lewy body dementia.

- Proven research and international recognition: Developed with research funding from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Go-Tech program, in collaboration with the Kanagawa Cancer Center and Chiba Cancer Center. Patented in 9 countries including Japan, with over 100,000 test-takers cumulatively (from April 2019 to March 2026).
