Renatech Inc. (headquartered in Isehara, Kanagawa Prefecture), a company that develops health indicators based on trace elements and applies them to real-world use, announces the opening of reservations for its proprietary screening test, the 'Metallo Balance Test,' which evaluates risks for cancer and MCI (mild cognitive impairment). The test will be available at its partner medical institution, Kushiro Kouninkai Rehabilitation Hospital (Kushiro City, Hokkaido), with reservation slots opening for Saturday, September 5, 2026, and Saturday, October 3, 2026.

With the establishment of a continuous testing system at this hospital, access to the 'Metallo Balance Test' in the Kushiro City area of Hokkaido will be stabilized, contributing as a local option for personal health management and pre-disease care.

Renatech will continue to maintain and expand testing availability nationwide in collaboration with partner medical institutions, aiming to encourage more people to take interest in their health and use the test as a trigger to review daily health habits and lifestyle for preventive care.

What is the Metallo Balance (MB) Test?

The Metallo Balance Test is a risk screening (triage) test that objectively assesses the risk of cancer and MCI (mild cognitive impairment) at the time of blood draw by analyzing the concentration balance of 17 trace elements (metal elements) in the blood.

### Key Features of the Test

- Only one 6mL blood draw: Blood is safely collected under the proper management of medical institutions. The test takes approximately 15 minutes, minimizing physical burden and ensuring safety.

- Organ-specific 'Cancer Risk Test': With a single blood draw, cancer risks are evaluated by body part (6 sites for men, 9 sites for women) and scored on a four-tier scale from A to D. - [Men] Lung cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer - [Women] Lung cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer

- Comprehensive 'Cognitive Risk Test (MCI Risk Assessment)': Evaluates all types of cognitive impairment, including not only Alzheimer’s type but also vascular and Lewy body types.

- Proven research track record and international recognition: Developed through joint research with Kanagawa Cancer Center and Chiba Cancer Center, supported by a research grant from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Go-Tech program. Patented in 9 countries including Japan, with over 100,000 test-takers cumulatively (from April 2019 to March 2026).
