The "Ukiyo-e Immersive Art Exhibition" is an experiential digital art museum where visitors can immerse themselves in the world of ukiyo-e in a stereoscopic video space. It features over 300 works by world-renowned ukiyo-e artists such as Hokusai Katsushika, Kuniyoshi Utagawa, Hiroshige Utagawa, Utamaro Kitagawa, Sharaku Toshusai, and Kunisada Utagawa, reimagined as graphical digital art pieces enjoyable for all ages through the use of 3DCG animation and projection mapping.
"Ukiyo-e Immersive Art Exhibition AOMORI" will offer a multifaceted experience of the charm of "Aomori and Ukiyo-e" through a special exhibition space, revealed for the first time, that is unique to Aomori, featuring landscape paintings of Aomori and the connection between Nebuta festivals and ukiyo-e.
In addition to deeply exploring the artistic value of ukiyo-e, the exhibition also includes content that clearly explains Edo culture, such as the daily life and entertainment of the time.

A shop produced by "Kusamura," a popular shop in Dote-machi, Hirosaki City, which selects traditional Aomori crafts with a contemporary sensibility, will open adjacent to the Ukiyo-e exhibition venue. This shop is supported for its "quality art that blends into daily life" with its雑貨 (zakka - miscellaneous goods) that fuse the meticulous handiwork of artisans with modern design.
It is also possible to use the merchandise shop only. There are many attractive goods, including limited-edition exhibition items and Aomori souvenirs. Please visit the venue.
