Shichijo Kanshundo's Pokémon Jou-namagashi Introduces New Lineup. Online Sales Begin Monday, May 11th.

Shichijo Kanshundo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 493 Kagiya-cho, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture; Representative: Keiko Kinoshita), a long-established Kyoto confectionery artisan continuing since Keio 1 (1865), will be selling a new lineup of Pokémon-themed Jou-namagashi, “Pokémon Jou-namagashi,” both in stores and online.

Pokémon is loved by a wide range of generations, from children to adults. By finding and raising them, Pokémon connects people around the world, transcending national, regional, and language barriers in various daily scenes.

Kyoto confectionery continues to evolve by incorporating the culture of each era, such as seasonal changes and popular waka poetry and paintings, while preserving tradition.

Shichijo Kanshundo, founded in 1865, created new Kyoto confectionery with Pokémon as its theme, hoping that children and adults alike could enjoy the world of Kyoto confectionery more intimately.

Since October last year, Shichijo Kanshundo has been selling Pokémon Kyoto confectionery, including Jou-namagashi, Fu-yaki Senbei, and Higashi, year-round. This time, we will be selling a Jou-namagashi set that adds Eevee and Poltchageist to the previously announced Shaymin (Land Forme) and Oricorio (Baile Style) wagashi. Eevee will be a nerikiri, and Poltchageist will be a jōyo manju. We have put our heart into making these sweets so that more people can experience the deliciousness and joy of Kyoto confectionery. Pokémon Jou-namagashi (Set of 4)

We have expressed Eevee, Shaymin (Land Forme), Oricorio (Baile Style), and Poltchageist in Jou-namagashi.

Jou-namagashi are sweets that express various themes such as the four seasons and waka poetry, using techniques cultivated in the tradition of wagashi. Shichijo Kanshundo's Jou-namagashi are handcrafted one by one by artisans using water from Kyoto's Higashiyama and high-quality ingredients.

About Pokémon Jou-namagashi In-store Sales

Room temperature Pokémon Jou-namagashi will be sold at the Kyoto Main Store on the “Nananohi” (7th day) of each month, starting from June 7, 2026 (Sunday).

<Sales Schedule> Sales will be held on the 7th of every month, starting from June 7, 2026 (Sunday).

*Please note that there will be no in-store sales on dates other than those listed above.
