Mitsui Medical Japan, the manufacturer of the pelvic organ prolapse supporter 'Femicushion,' has relaunched its official YouTube channel, originally established in 2011, with new content starting May 30, 2026. Moving forward, the company will publish videos every Saturday at 6 PM, offering easy-to-understand information from a developer's perspective regarding concerns such as uterine prolapse, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence. A survey conducted by the company revealed that 79.7% of women are unfamiliar with the term 'pelvic organ prolapse.' This condition, often linked to childbirth and aging, is estimated to affect approximately one in three women over the age of 50. However, many women suffer in silence, attributing their symptoms to 'just getting older.' Through this channel renewal, the company aims to provide basic knowledge, guidance on when to seek medical attention, and information on the role of Femicushion, all under medical supervision, to encourage early diagnosis and treatment.
