[Tasting Notes]
No. 68: Aroma of honey, citrus, and white grapes, with a refreshing herbal note of coriander. The palate spreads with the sweetness of ripe pineapple, followed by a slightly bitter spice of grapefruit peel and a pleasant refreshing finish.
No. 69: Rich sweetness of vanilla and mango, leading to a refreshing lemon acidity. A powerful oak flavor, the richness of malt sugar, and the stimulation of ginger combine, converging vividly into a fragrant, woody finish.

[Whisky Commitment]
We use carefully selected non-peated malt and high-quality soft water rich in minerals. Utilizing brewing techniques cultivated over many years of sake brewing, we conducted long-term fermentation using multiple yeasts with different properties. After careful distillation, the resulting new pot (raw spirit) was aged for over 3 years in bourbon barrels under the Setouchi seasons and bottled as a single cask, allowing you to directly taste the individuality of each barrel.
Soft water rich in minerals Cask No. 68 Cask No. 69
[Design]
The design features the "Setouchi" logo, the symbol of the series produced by SETOUCHI DISTILLERY, at the center, and represents the color of charred oak wood characteristic of bourbon barrels, as well as the sweet and rich aroma reminiscent of vanilla and caramel. (※Cask numbers are printed on the back label.)
[From the Maker to You]
The Cask No. 68 and No. 69 being released this time are both single malt, single cask Japanese whiskies aged for 3 years and 4 months in 1st fill 100L bourbon barrels. They are like twins, manufactured with the utmost care to match the barrel maker, specifications, distillation date, bottling date, and aging environment, such as aging them adjacent to each other. The flavors are distinct, and the "angel's share" (evaporation) differs significantly, with No. 68 at 50% and No. 69 at 37%. Please experience the differences in flavor between barrels that arise even when conditions are made as uniform as possible.
