15 Creative Companies in the 'Design Town' of Utsubo to Host 'UTSUBO DESIGN TOURS 2026' for Students on June 9

Ningen Inc. (Location: 4F Aikou Bldg, 1-12-11 Kyomachibori, Nishi-ku, Osaka; CEOs: Hanaoka, Shiboru Yamane) will hold 'UTSUBO DESIGN TOURS 2026' on June 9, 2026. This office tour, covering 15 design companies in the Utsubo area (from Utsubohonmachi to Tosabori), aims to create opportunities for students to meet local creative firms, facilitating recruitment and internships. The event will feature office tours, panel discussions, and networking sessions. The Utsubo area is known for its concentration of design firms and creators. While typically a quiet office district, it is a hub for branding, spatial design, and communication projects that impact society. The charm of Utsubo lies in the natural gathering of 'creators' who foster new ideas and culture. To showcase this, the event is themed 'Creators seem to fall for Utsubo.' Four main contents are provided: 1) Creative Company Tour, 2) UTSUBO FOOD TICKET, 3) Networking Event, and 4) TOUR FOR BUSINESS. The event runs from 13:00 to 20:30 on June 9, 2026, with approximately 170 participants. Participation is free. Participating universities include Osaka University of Arts, Osaka Designer Academy, Kobe Design University, Kyoto University of the Arts, and Kyoto Seika University. The event is organized by the Utsubo Neighborhood Association.
