FC Imabari implemented the 'Touch Wave Flag' project, transforming the 'temporary fence (white wall)' installed due to the seat expansion work at ASICS Satoyama Stadium into an open gallery colored by the feelings of local residents. In this project, 'nobori' banners that were originally scheduled to be discarded were reused (upcycled) to create giant support flags together with the local community. Through workshops held at 11 venues in Imabari City, approximately 520 people cooperated, collecting about 800 handprints with messages, and a total of 9 flags were completed. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, the flags were displayed on the temporary fence, creating a new stadium landscape where art and sports merge. The flags are scheduled to be displayed until the temporary fence is removed for the seat expansion work, which is planned for mid-July. After the display ends, they will continue to be used as 'support flags' to color actual matches.
