Kyowa Electronic Instruments Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Kohei Shimozumi) released the CTRS-IEPE010A measurement unit on June 1, 2026, as a new addition to its compact recorder CTRS-100 Series. The unit supports IEPE-type accelerometers and is designed for vibration measurement in demanding automotive and construction machinery endurance and road tests. Key features include: 4-channel input with direct IEPE accelerometer connection plus voltage input compatibility, enabling efficient use of limited channels. Rugged design covers -10 to 50°C operating temperature, vibration resistance of 49.0 m/s² (5G) at 5-200 Hz, shock resistance of 490 m/s² (50G), and IP50 dust protection. Measurement accuracy is ensured via 24-bit high-resolution A/D conversion with simultaneous all-channel sampling. TEDS function auto-reads sensor information, and a zero-suppress function speeds up field setup. The unit measures 26.6(W)×92(H)×94(D) mm and weighs approx. 230 g. Power is supplied from CTRS-100A or CTRS-BATT010A. Founded in 1949, Kyowa was the first in Japan to commercialize strain gauges and serves automotive, civil engineering, and industrial sectors.
