Update your summer in Miyakojima: Shigira Beach Summer DJ Night Announcement

Shigira Seven Miles Resort, a resort city with an area of approximately 1.4 million tsubo (approx. 4.6 million sqm) operated by Nansei Rakuen Resort of the Unimat Group, will host an exclusive special event for guests staying at its nine hotels, titled "SHIGIRA BEACH SUMMER DJ NIGHT," on August 11, 2026 (Tuesday, holiday).

This event is a unique summer beach night where DJ sounds and Bon Odori (traditional folk dance) merge. Produced by DJ 246, the performance will feature Bon Odori by the popular Tokyo-based group "Yukata no Pride," alongside a stunning musical set by female DJ pioneer DJ KAORI, filling Shigira Beach with excitement and upliftment.

Enjoy an unforgettable summer in Miyakojima under a starry sky. As the climax of the event, Shigira fireworks will illuminate the night sky. We also offer special experiences to brighten the Miyakojima summer, such as limited tropical menus and private cabanas.

Performers DJ KAORI: A pioneer of female DJs. Following her success in New York, she remains highly active in events both domestically and internationally. DJ 246: A DJ and producer known for compiling the "TOKYO LOUNGE" series. "Yukata no Pride" from Tokyo: A Bon Odori performer group consisting of Tsugumi Kimijima (General Supervisor), Asuka (Composer/Koto player), and Mami Kisaragi (Kouta/Shamisen player).
