[Experience Image] AI and AR create a "world that can only be captured here." Transform fan enthusiasm into engagement and data.
Aki Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nishi-ku, Minami-Horie, Osaka; President: Akihito Sano), with 29 years of experience as a spatial design and production company, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with US-based FotoMaster, a global leader in interactive photo booths. We will begin offering "THE MIRROR," an experiential mirror photo booth equipped with AI/AR video generation, to advertising agencies, event organizers/promoters, planning/operations companies, equipment rental companies, and setup/construction companies starting July 8, 2026.
This agreement follows approximately six months of discussions. FotoMaster expressed their strong desire to "jointly build the Japanese market development" based on our vision for the Japanese market, our 29 years of experience in wedding production, our track record of over 1,600 installations nationwide, and our capabilities in planning and developing original productions such as the light show "Fairy Illusion." This led to the signing of the exclusive distribution agreement for Japan.
THE MIRROR is a solution that enhances proposal capabilities for visitor experiences, generates sponsor revenue, acquires first-party fan data, and leads to repeat business initiatives. Furthermore, it proactively resolves the industry's concern of "long waiting lines" through an operational model of appointments and staggered events.
Limited to 20 units per industry in the first year. An early experience session will be held at our Osaka/Shinsaibashi showroom starting July 13.
Market is Recovering, but New Added Value is Needed
The domestic event market is showing strong recovery. Event consumption in 2023 reached 16,898.3 billion yen, with performance events accounting for 6,675.3 billion yen (Source 1).
The live entertainment market also set a new record in 2024 at 760.5 billion yen and is projected to expand to 870 billion yen by 2030 (Source 2). However, the recovery is concentrated in urban and large-scale events, leading to market polarization. Labor shortages are also severe, making the "creation of high-value-added content" essential for sustainable growth (Source 2).
The following three issues are simultaneously apparent on-site:
(Source 1: Japan Event Industry Promotion Association, Source 2: PIA Research)
Lack of First-Party Fan Data Tickets are primarily sold through ticket agencies, making it difficult for organizers and sponsors to obtain contact information and behavioral data of highly engaged attendees.
Stagnant Sponsor Revenue and Unclear Effectiveness Sponsorships often remain one-way communication through signage and banners, making it difficult to visualize contact and impact.
One-Off Events and "Long Waiting Lines" Relationships tend to end after a single event, and waiting lines for merchandise or entry can lead to decreased satisfaction, increased labor burden, and complaints.
Value Provided by THE MIRROR — Impact That Solves Issues Connecting Operations and Management.
THE MIRROR offers distinct value to each stakeholder.

Proposals often become "the same as competitors'."
Few differentiating weapons.
Increased order-winning potential with content that can depict an "experiential scene."
Flexible procurement through purchase, rental, or lease.
Organizer/Promoter Business Manager / Revenue Officer
Limited new revenue, no fan data retained, events are one-off.
New sponsor revenue + first-party fan data + LTV (Customer Lifetime Value) through exclusive frames.
Directly linked to P&L and business growth.
Equipment Rental / Setup & Construction Manager
Agencies and organizers demand "unique equipment," but procurement options are limited.
Procurement available through sales, lease, or spot rental, enhancing project added value, unit price, and utilization rate.
As a reference, the event industry scale is 2,633.7 billion yen (Source 1), indicating intense competition and a strong demand for differentiating weapons. Meanwhile, the market is polarizing, and the pressure for "high value addition" is most keenly felt at the revenue officer level.
Of the 7,316.7 billion yen in advertising expenditure, internet advertising accounts for 3,333.0 billion yen (Source 2), with budgets shifting towards video and digital, leaving room to convert venue waiting times into "video advertising inventory."

"No Waiting Lines" Operational Model — Turning Enthusiasm into Assets with Reservations and Staggered Events
The biggest concern at event sites is "long waiting lines." THE MIRROR resolves this through its fundamental planning and design.
Instead of concentrating visitors on a single day, events are spread over a period of two weeks to one month, such as anniversaries, new product launches, fan appreciation days, brand experience events, and history exhibitions. A time-slot reservation system (QR code) is used to eliminate waiting lines, offering a "treasure experience" of photographing within the brand's or idol's world as the "final shot" of a circulating experience.
[Operational Model] Staggered Events x Reservation System x Circulating Experience. Eliminating "waiting line anxiety" through operations, and converting experiences into revenue and fan data.
[Model Case (Trial Calculation, Assumptions Stated)]
With a reservation system and an estimated 3 minutes per slot, approximately 10 people per hour, 80 people per day over 8 hours. Over 10 days, approximately 800 people; over one month, approximately 2,400 people. With urban tours (e.g., 8 cities), a cumulative total of approximately 19,200 limited photo experiences. Assuming a price of 1,200 yen per premium limited frame for each city, new revenue of approximately 23 million yen can be expected from photo experiences alone.
Additionally, operational variations can be optimized for venue and scale.
*This is a trial calculation based on assumptions and does not guarantee effectiveness or sales.
Full Time Slot Reservation System QR code for time designation. Structurally prevents long queues and minimizes staffing.
Fan Club / VIP Perk Separated from general merchandise queues, offered as a perk for members, VIPs, or high-spending customers. Achieves both increased per-customer spending and high-end customer data through small groups and high prices.
Collaborative Stores / Permanent Pop-ups: Installed in collaborative stores or sacred sites for the event period, not just on the day of the live performance, to equalize attendance. Converts "one-night's excitement" into repeat visits and merchandise sales.
Furthermore, concerns such as "dislike of the output" or "high labor requirements" are mitigated through operations by allowing pre-selection of frames, pre-viewing before confirmation, and self-operation (touch UI + QR code delivery).
[Customer Attraction / UGC] Visitors take photos themselves and share them on social media. Shooting with official frames becomes "designed diffusion."
Monetization — Turning "Waiting Time" into Sponsor Advertising and Data Touchpoints
The AI generation time after shooting (download time) is treated as a "information dissemination and advertising slot" that visitors actively watch, enabling immediate delivery of sponsor advertisements for participating companies. Revenue-sharing arrangements are also planned.
Additionally, by collecting responses to a survey during download, adding a LINE Official Account, or registering as a member, first-party data (first-party data) that is difficult to obtain through e-commerce can be acquired and connected to repeat visits, merchandise sales, fan clubs, etc.

It offers improved proposal capabilities to advertising agencies, fan data acquisition and new revenue opportunities to organizers/promoters, differentiating content to planning/operations/production companies, and procurement and utilization rate enhancement options to equipment rental/setup and construction companies. Furthermore, through "The Mirror Club" (planned), which connects adopting facilities, agencies, and operating companies, we plan to build a continuous collaboration system through equipment utilization and priority referrals among members.

President's Comment
"The value of events and performances should not end with 'the excitement of that one day.' We aim to be a milestone that captivates people with their event attendance experience, not just fan psychology, differentiates proposals, and leads to sponsor revenue. Towards building relationships with fans and 'constructing data and LTV.'
Short movie generation output will also be available from July 2026.
THE MIRROR is a production engine that solves the challenge of customer attraction plans that tend to be temporary, and resolves waiting lines through operations.
It transforms experiential value into assets.
We look forward to combining FotoMaster's technology with our hospitality-driven design philosophy to create unique content with you all.
Please experience the tangible results at our hands-on event." (President Akihito Sano)
