KKE Corporation will hold "KKE Vision for Monozukuri 2026 ~ 'Intentional Manufacturing' to Thrive in the AI Era ~" on July 23 (Thu) at Tokyo Conference Center Shinagawa. This lecture and exhibition event, designed to consider the future of the manufacturing industry, will feature lectures by researchers of corporate management, case study lectures by companies at the forefront of Japanese manufacturing, and solution exhibits.

Event Purpose

KKE Corporation is committed to realizing a better next-generation society by fusing cutting-edge digital technologies with engineering expertise cultivated over many years. Currently, the manufacturing industry faces numerous challenges, including a deepening labor shortage and environmental issues. Furthermore, it is undergoing a period of significant transformation, compounded by technological breakthroughs such as generative AI.

This year's KKE Vision for Monozukuri will be held under the theme of "'Intentional Manufacturing' to Thrive in the AI Era." While AI can instantly calculate answers, only humans can pose fundamental "questions" and create new value. Faced with such powerful tools, the question now is whether we have the will to master them proactively rather than become dependent. We will explore the path forward for Japanese manufacturing together with you through in-depth discussions that will pave the way for a sustainable future, focusing on how to leverage human wisdom and sensibility in future manufacturing.

At this event, Professor Emeritus Takahiro Fujimoto of the University of Tokyo will deliver a keynote lecture on manufacturing strategies for Japanese industry, and Professor Kuniyasu Sakai of the University of Tokyo will give a special lecture on how humans and AI should interact. Additionally, company lectures will share know-how cultivated in manufacturing sites and case studies of the latest digital technology utilization. From the perspective of improving corporate value for the sustainable development of the manufacturing industry, we will consider the future of manufacturing together with you.
