This one-day special event offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from Kei Takemura, the contemporary artist behind the 'Playing Cards' design, about her inspirations and creative process. Following the first collection 'Ribbon' by architect and brand director Yūko Nagayama and the second collection 'Line and Curve' by art director Asuka Wakita, the third collection features Kei Takemura—a globally active contemporary artist known for her unique embroidery on photographs and drawings—as the jewelry designer.

The 'Playing Cards' collection allows users to freely combine charms inspired by numbers, suits, and face cards from playing cards. Alongside base pieces such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and ear cuffs, the collection offers over 40 types of charms.

NS by NOUSAKU jewelry is crafted using the proprietary 'Tin Gold' material. By blending lightweight, flexible tin with gold, the brand achieves a smooth, comfortable feel that adapts naturally to the skin’s temperature.

Designer of the 3rd Collection 'Playing Cards': Kei Takemura / Contemporary Artist

After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School, Kei Takemura studied at the Berlin University of the Arts. Based in Gunma Prefecture, she creates works centered on themes of memory, time, and human connections through embroidery. She has held numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide. Her notable works include transforming broken objects into new value through embroidery and series inspired by playing cards.

She has published collections such as 'Takemura Kei in Berlin 2000–2005' (2005), 'Prosaic Verse' (2012), and 'PLAYING CARDS' (2017). She has participated in international exhibitions including the 15th Biennale of Sydney (2005) and the Yokohama Triennale (2020), earning global acclaim.
