A survey by Kaori Co., Ltd. of 1,011 women in their late 30s to early 50s found that about 30% are dissatisfied with their current skincare. The top reasons for dissatisfaction are "not feeling the expected effects" (54.6%) and "not knowing if the current care is suitable" (49.4%), highlighting that many women feel "lost" in their beauty regimen. For an ideal routine, about 70% of respondents want skincare that is simple and time-efficient. The main burdens to continuing skincare include cost, uncertainty about correct methods, and fatigue. Consequently, over 80% wish to review their routine, primarily triggered by changes in age and skin quality. The findings suggest a strong demand for high-quality, simple skincare that addresses specific concerns and is easy to maintain in a busy life.
