Shida Inc. (株式会社詩田) has officially launched ApiMax, an enterprise-grade AI model gateway, for the Japanese market. ApiMax addresses three core pain points of multi-model AI operations: management complexity from handling separate accounts per provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), fragmented cost tracking across different billing currencies, and network instability when connecting from Japan to overseas servers.
The platform supports a wide range of models via a single OpenAI-compatible API key. Text/reasoning models include GPT-5.5, Claude Opus 4.8, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Gemini 3.5 Flash, Gemini 3.1 Pro, DeepSeek-V4, Qwen 3.7, GLM-5.1, Kimi K2.6, and MiniMax M2.7. Image generation includes Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image 2. Video generation includes Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0, and Kling 3.0. Migration requires changing only the endpoint and model name in existing code.
On pricing, ApiMax charges zero platform fees—eliminating the ~5.5% service fee typical of routing services—and offers all LLM, image, and video models (except Seedance 2.0) at 10% below official prices. Enterprise clients can negotiate up to 30% off based on volume.
Infrastructure guarantees include sub-50ms added gateway latency, automatic failover, and a 99.95% uptime SLA. Data policy enforces four principles: no storage of prompts or business data, no use for model training, no profiling or analysis, and pure request forwarding only. Billing supports JPY and USD with corporate invoicing. Onboarding is possible same-day via apimax.io.
