Roses in Full Bloom at Mie's RedHill Heather no Mori; Rose Festa on May 16-17

Akatsuka Botanical Garden has announced that the rose garden at RedHill Heather no Mori in Mie Prefecture is now in full bloom. Featuring over 1,500 roses of approximately 500 varieties, the 2,500-square-meter garden is organized into nine themed areas. The 'Happy Rose Festa 2026' will take place on May 16-17, offering guided tours, forest concerts, and a craft market. This year marks the first major bloom for four areas renovated in 2025, providing a spectacular floral experience for families and gardening enthusiasts.
