Surala Net Inc.'s AI-powered interactive ICT teaching material, "Surala Drill," has been fully implemented at Shikige Junior High School, a union-run school for the towns of Kawanishi and Miyake in Nara Prefecture, starting April 2024. Following a successful trial, the tool was officially adopted for all 325 students. The school, which brings together students from different backgrounds, aims to provide individualized instruction tailored to each student's pace and understanding. "Surala Drill" uses AI to offer optimized problems, fostering a sense of achievement, while also reducing teachers' workload by automating tasks like assignment distribution and grading. This adoption serves as a model for how smaller municipalities can leverage ICT for personalized education.
