Natsu-Awa --Sake Cocktail using Natsu-Sanran--

Tonichi Sake Brewery Co., Ltd., based in Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture, conducted a survey on X (formerly Twitter) regarding 'gifts of alcohol for Father's Day.' The results showed that 35.1% of respondents have given sake as a Father's Day gift.

In response to this, the brewery will release its summer limited sake 'Junmai Ginjo Natsu-Sanran' (720ml / 1,780 yen including tax) in limited quantities starting June 5, 2026. Since its debut in 2015 (excluding 2016 and 2017), the series has achieved cumulative sales exceeding 10,000 bottles (in 720ml equivalent) during the summer season alone.

This year, a collaboration with Asahi Soft Drinks' premium carbonated brand 'Wilkinson' has been realized. The 'Natsu-Awa Set,' which includes 'Natsu-Sanran' and 'Wilkinson Tonic,' will be sold exclusively through the brewery's official online shop starting on the same day.

X Survey Results Results of the survey on X (94 total votes): - Have given gifts other than alcohol: 38.3% - Have given sake: 35.1% - Have given other alcohol (beer, etc.): 14.9% - Have never given a gift: 11.7%

It was found that approximately 70% (70.2%) of those who have given alcohol as a gift chose 'sake.'

Product Features The sake is made using 100% 'Gohyakumangoku' rice grown in Tochigi Prefecture. Polishing ratio is 60%. Alcohol content is 16%. It offers a refreshing and crisp taste while allowing the natural umami of the rice to spread.

Background of Commercialization At last summer's 'Sake Garden' event held at the brewery, a sake cocktail (Natsu-Awa) made by mixing 'Natsu-Sanran' with 'Wilkinson Tonic' was served and well-received. Based on this feedback, it was officially decided to commercialize the set.
