[Daimaru Kyoto] Celebrating Pride Month with a 4th Live Painting by silsil on June 13!

What can we as individuals do to build a society where everyone can live as their true selves? During Pride Month, Daimaru Kyoto is carrying out initiatives related to LGBTQ+.

Rainbow Light-up of Daimaru Kyoto's Exterior and Roof ■ June 1 – 30, 2026, 18:30 – 21:00 daily

Throughout the period, Daimaru Kyoto's exterior will be lit up daily in rainbow colors, brightly coloring Shijo Street. The rooftop plaza will also be rainbow-colored.

silsil Live Painting This will be held as part of the 'LOVE MY COLORS LOVE YOUR COLORS' initiative. The work painted on the day is themed around 'the beauty of being yourself and being true.'

Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026 Time: 11:00 – 18:20 (4 sessions) Venue: Special venue in front of the information counter on the 1st floor of Daimaru Kyoto (Free to watch)

Works created from March to June will be reconstructed by silsil's sensibilities and sold as trimmed pieces at the 'Fun! Art Wonder' event in the 6th-floor Event Hall from June 24 (Wed) to 29 (Mon).
