About the “Minon” Brand

Launched in 1973 with the mission of eliminating skin troubles caused by cosmetic allergies, “Minon” has long prioritized gentleness to the skin—even before the term “sensitive skin” became widely recognized. The brand’s message, “Between skin and kindness,” reflects its desire to remain a bridge between people’s skin and their loved ones’ care. Minon continues to support those struggling with sensitive skin while understanding the feelings of their caregivers.

In 2009, Minon launched “Minon Amino Moist,” a facial care series for sensitive skin developed by focusing on amino acids that deeply support skin hydration. The brand aims to expand its lineup to offer not only gentleness but also beauty, allowing sensitive skin users to enjoy skincare.

The brand name “Minon” originates from the three “Non” principles it pursued from the beginning: “Non-allergic” (minimizing allergens), “Non-toxic” (low irritation), and “Non-alkaline” (weakly acidic). This philosophy remains unchanged, ensuring products are safe for use by everyone from infants to the elderly.

About “KidsNet”

Launched in 1996, KidsNet is an educational portal site for elementary and junior high school students, parents, and teachers, derived from Gakken’s flagship grade-level magazines “Science” and “Learning,” which once reached a peak circulation of 6.7 million. Recognized as a pioneering “online educational content site for children,” KidsNet is highly regarded by educators as an effective tool to foster student autonomy in classrooms.

Content includes the “Free Research Project,” “Science Why-Why 110,” which answers children’s scientific questions, and “Discover Future Careers,” supporting children’s career development.
