One Night Only: 'Akasaka AKANE Night at Akasaka Hikawa Shrine' Transforms Shrine Grounds into an Immersive Crimson Space—UZETSU INC. to Host Event on June 15

UZETSU INC. will host a one-night-only immersive event, 'Akasaka AKANE Night at Akasaka Hikawa Shrine,' on June 15, 2026, at Akasaka Hikawa Shrine in Minato Ward, Tokyo. This project has been selected as a supported project for fiscal year 2025 by the Akasaka Creative Foundation.

'Akasaka AKANE Night' is an immersive installation that treats the entire shrine grounds as a single work of art. The venue is composed of three sections: an entrance area, a bar area, and a performance area.

The key to the performance is 'Akane' (madder), an ancient Japanese red dye plant. Based on the Akane grass, which is said to be the origin of the name 'Akasaka,' the event features performances by renowned creators, including laser artist GENDAI, designers for lighting and sets, dancers, and Taiko drummers.
