Founded in 1894 (Meiji 27), we are a long-established bamboo store located in the Torafudake village of Anwa, Susaki City, Kochi Prefecture. We handle approximately 1,200 types of bamboo products, including bamboo sieves, bamboo baskets, and bamboo charcoal, with a focus on Tosa Torafudake (tiger bamboo) which exhibits beautiful patterns only when grown in this region. Bamboo is recognized as a unique sustainable natural resource and is drawing attention in the field of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). With the motto "The 21st Century is the Era of Bamboo," which Take Tora has advocated since 1985, we deliver products that are gentle to both the environment and people.
