Kōri to Kani, a street-level shop in front of Kinosaki Onsen Station that drew long lines daily in winter for its 'Grilled Crab Shell' dish, will begin offering 'Dream Collaboration Shaved Ice' from July 11 (Sat), 2026, through the end of September as a summer-only event. This collaboration is with popular local sweets shops.

Featuring Motosue, known for its 'Tamago Pan' (egg bread); Ukawa, which generously uses carefully selected kinako (roasted soybean flour); and Tokitoki, a shop filled with Japanese ambiance. Popular shops and brands representing Kinosaki have gathered in front of the station. This is the birth of an entirely new street food dessert that allows you to completely complete your delicious Kinosaki memories in the 15 minutes you have while waiting for your limited express train home.

*Please note that during the shaved ice service period (July-September), our signature 'Grilled Crab Shell' will continue to be sold at Tokitoki's street-level store.

Highlights of This Release

'Dream Luxury Collaboration Ice' You Can Only Taste Here

Responding to travelers' requests of 'I want to try that shop's taste too, but I don't have time to visit them all,' popular local specialty shops have gathered in front of the station. We offer original shaved ice luxuriously made with signature ingredients from each shop, such as Motosue's rich pudding and Ukawa's fragrant kinako. Enjoy authentic flavors brought to life with the hospitality and dedication cultivated through our ryokan business.

Like 'Cotton Candy'! A Cute, Round, Fluffy, Authentic Shaved Ice

All products are characterized by their cute, round form like cotton candy and an exquisite 'fluffy texture' that melts smoothly in your mouth. The carefully selected syrups and ingredients from each renowned shop are served in bowls adorned with the elegant 'Sumihei Mon' (Sumihei pattern). This creates a rich flavor that doesn't dilute until the last bite, and a luxurious moment that makes you forget you're at the station.

15 Minutes Before Boarding Your Limited Express. Create Sweet Lasting Memories in Kinosaki Onsen.

To allow you to enjoy this during the spare time while waiting for your limited express train home, we use special cups that are easy to carry and prevent spills on the train. Both 'dine-in' and 'take-out' are offered at the same price with the same cups, allowing you to sit and eat in the cool interior of the shop or take it directly onto the train if you're cutting it close on time.
