First Wave of 49 Artists Announced for "Maxell presents FM802 MINAMI WHEEL 2026"! Fastest Ticket Pre-sale Starts!

The showcase live festival "FM802 MINAMI WHEEL," modeled after "SXSW (South by Southwest)" held in Austin, Texas, USA, and incorporating Osaka's unique ideas, has been held annually in the autumn across the Minami area of Osaka.

This year, as "Maxell presents FM802 MINAMI WHEEL 2026," over 450 artists will perform across 21 live music venues in the Minami area for three days from October 10 (Sat), 11 (Sun), and 12 (Mon, Holiday).

Today, the first wave of 49 performing artists has been announced! In conjunction, the official first round of lottery sales for the 3DAYS PASS has begun.

Furthermore, there's a chance to get tickets at a better price than through the website during FM802 broadcasts. In three programs airing today: "EVENING TAP" from 6:00 PM, "ROCK KIDS 802-OCHIKEN Goes ON!!-" from 9:00 PM, and "RADIO∞INFINITY" from 12:00 AM, a special joint campaign for FM802 program early bird lottery pre-sales will be held. By entering the S-code (keyword) announced across the three programs into the FM802 website, you can apply for the 3DAYS PASS currently on sale for a special price of \uffe59,900 (tax included).

Maxell presents FM802 MINAMI WHEEL 2026 is a live house hopping showcase event organized by FM802.

Since its start in 1999, it has been held on the stages of live houses in the Minami area of Osaka, marking its 28th year.

During the event, over 450 artists will perform live at 21 venues in the Minami area of Osaka. Attendees can freely move between multiple live houses using a common PASS, enjoying encounters with new music.

MINAMI WHEEL is a showcase event featuring a wide lineup from new artists to popular acts.

In recent years, efforts have been made to include international artists and collaborate with overseas festivals, expanding its role as a platform connecting domestic and international music scenes.

In addition to live performances, the festival will be held as a showcase festival where music, art, and culture intersect, using the entire Minami area of Osaka as its stage, with free live shows and related events in the city.

Additionally, the audition "MINAMI WHEEL -New Age-" for student artists in the Kansai region will be held. The final live audition will take place on August 18 (Tue) at Shinsaibashi BIGCAT, and the artists who win this audition will earn the right to perform at "Maxell presents FM802 MINAMI WHEEL 2026."
