On July 15th and 16th, coinciding with Gion Matsuri's Yoiyoiyama and Yoiyama, our business hours will be extended until 10 PM.

Normally, the last reception is at 5 PM and closing is at 6 PM, but we will extend these hours for these two days only.

We can accommodate late-hour dressing for those who wish to enjoy Gion Matsuri and Yoiyama from the evening into the night, not just for daytime Kyoto sightseeing.

Those returning from work can also come directly to the store empty-handed, which is reassuring.

Furthermore, for these two days only, July 15th and 16th, we will extend our hours for the "other store return" service to Yasaka Shrine store from other Rental Kimono Okamoto branches.

We will transport your discarded clothes or any unnecessary luggage from the store where you changed to the Yasaka Shrine store.

Rental Kimono Okamoto has 7 stores, including the Main Store, Kiyomizu Store, Kiyomizu Higashiyama Store, Gion Store, Fushimi Inari Store, Arashiyama Store, and Yasaka Shrine Store.

You can use any of these stores.

This is especially recommended for those who change at stores slightly further away, such as Arashiyama or Fushimi Inari, and then plan to attend Gion Matsuri.

You can enjoy various Kyoto sightseeing spots during the day, then leisurely enjoy Gion Matsuri until night and return your rental near Yasaka Shrine, making it easier to go out without worrying about time.
