Mirai

Directed by Takayuki Yanase, known for 'Love from the Other Side,' this film adapts Minato's mystery novel of the same name, released to mark her 10th anniversary since debut. The story centers on Akiko, a teacher with a complex past who supports her student Shoko, a girl struggling under the weight of harsh realities and societal injustices, after receiving a letter from her 'future self' 20 years ahead.

Black Island Yuna, who starred in NHK's 2022 morning drama 'Chimudai Dondon,' plays the lead role of teacher Akiko, while rising star Yamazaki Nanami, recognized for her role in 'Drought' (2023), plays Shoko. Matsuzaka Tori portrays Shoko's father, while Kita Kiko plays her mother, who harbors a shocking secret. Young talents such as Bando Ryuta, Hosoda Kaito, and Kondo Hana also join the cast, creating a narrative that transcends time and place.

Bonus content featuring journalist Ichiro Furutachi in a deep-dive discussion with director Yanase will also be released simultaneously.

Keishicho Reunion / Requiem

Based on the 'Keishicho' series, a groundbreaking police mystery novel by Hiroki Nagaoka with over 1.4 million copies in circulation (published by Shogakukan). The series began as a special drama in 2020 and is now making its cinematic debut in 2026—the first film adaptation in the series' history. The golden trio behind 'Keishicho'—starring Takuya Kimura, directed by Isao Nakagawa, and written by Ryoichi Kimizuka—reunites for this project.

Set in 'Keishicho,' a secretive academy that trains future police officers, where unsuitable candidates are weeded out. A high-stakes battle for graduation—and becoming a police officer—begins between students filled with dreams, hopes, and secrets, and a strict instructor who can detect even the smallest lie.
