ALT JAPAN, the Japanese subsidiary of South Korean mobile device maker ALT, announced that its smartphone 'MIVE Kesuma' will be sold through KDDI's SIM-free brand 'au Flex Style' starting May 29, 2026. Since its release in February 2026 at electronics retailers, the device has gained significant traction among seniors who appreciate its 'feature-phone-like' usability. By expanding into the 'au Flex Style' channel, the company aims to provide an easier transition to smartphones for those who feel intimidated by touch-only interfaces. Sales will begin on the au Online shop on May 29, with KDDI direct stores following in June, where demo units will be available. The device comes in Indigo Black and Pearl White. It features both a touchscreen and physical keys, allowing users to run apps like LINE and YouTube. It includes a 4.3-inch main display and a 1.83-inch sub-display for notifications. Key specs include an 8MP camera, IPX4/IP5X dust and water resistance, and a 2,100mAh battery. Safety features include spam call blocking, safety check messaging, SOS alerts, and voice guidance.
