Japan's only (*1) dedicated foreign action drama channel, 'AXN Action Channel' (AXN Entertainment Inc., headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo; President & CEO Ryoji Nojima), has announced an expanded broadcast and streaming schedule for the 'Rex' series this summer, from July to August, to bring greater enjoyment to viewers. This summer, fans can fully enjoy the 'Rex' series through AXN Action Channel (broadcast) and Action & Mystery Plus (streaming).

Rex – A Police German Shepherd in Vienna

Set in Vienna, Austria, this Austrian national drama follows the crime-solving duo of a detective and his loyal German Shepherd partner, Rex. First aired in 1994 on Austria's public broadcaster ORF 1, it is one of the world's most successful dramas, broadcast in over 120 countries and regions. To coincide with the Ocean Day holiday on July 20, AXN Action Channel will air a special marathon featuring all 89 episodes from Seasons 1 to 6 of 'Rex – A Police German Shepherd in Vienna' from July 17 (Fri) to July 20 (Mon, holiday). Season 6 will be broadcast for the first time on AXN Action Channel.

② Starting August: Daily 'Dog Time' Broadcasts!

From August 8 (Sat), 'Rex – A Police German Shepherd in Vienna' Seasons 1–6 (all 89 episodes) will air daily at 10:00 AM in the 'Daily Dog' programming block. This is the perfect chance to catch up before Season 7, scheduled for broadcast in September.
